my biggest pet peeve in the world is people who cheat on their spouses or on their girlfriends or boyfriends.
i have no idea why, i never even been in a relationship before, but it just ticks me off so much when i hear about people cheating or being cheated on.. i was talking with one person, aint gonna say his name, but he was talking about how he loved his wife with his whole heart.
and she is the love of his life and different things, but he just found another to go along with his wife.
Cheaters are plain despicable!
There's no excuse whatsoever for such behavior. If a person is having an irreconcilable problem with a mate, then by all means, first leave that person and go on to heal your heart and then find another relationship.
And remember, once a cheater, always a cheater. Don't ever trust a cheater!

i went to the meeting yesterday because my cousin was visiting and wanted to know where the kh was located.
i finally offered to go with her to avoid any issues.
Plan somethinig fun to do on the day you were supposed to meet them. Be a 'no show'.

I agree with you. I'm always discouraging parents to allow their children to get baptized, at least until they're old enough to drive, or when their hormones have calmed down and they can make a clear decision that will affect the rest of their lives.
Believe me, I've won many an argument on this field. Another reason why I'm labeled 'spiritually weak', and even 'marked' by some.
Oh, I'm quite vocal about this, since it was my own experience.

i have sent and lent this book to a number of people within the wts, even a co, all of whom left eventually.
one person remained due to domestic issues, but resigned from all his duties and remains as such.
One cannot read this book and remain with the same faith and loyalty towards the WTBTS. However, I do know of some that have stayed because they don't want family disruption. I'm one of them, sorry to admit.

i was thinking about this the other day in response to the question, "am i coming back?
" put forward by jw who called me (a former friend).
i said that i would not answer that question since it would put her in an uncomfortable position.
I'd put in a better effort if...
1- Did away with disfellowshipping.
2- Cut meetings to twice per week, 1-hour each.
3- Celebrated birthdays and all holidays.
4- Assemblies only once a year, 1 day only (10 a.m.-12 noon; 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
5- Stop it with the silly statement that they're the 'truth'.
Wait it a minute. That'll never happen! I better find another religion! No, I won't do that either. (HA!!!)
I guess, when it comes to religion, I'll continue to be in no-man's land.

I do understand why they act the way they do. It's just frustrating that with so many failures throughout the years, so much disillusioned expectancy they'd change their view point.
I'm of the thinking that, if the end of this system does come like they continuously predict, then great!!! You know how many people would stop suffering?! It'd be great really for many poor souls. But, if it doesn't, like it hasn't yet, then we must all make the best of what we've got now in this system.
